Strathmore, AB — Origin Brewing, a local brewery, is making headlines with its inclusion in a special advent calendar that highlights craft beers from across Alberta. This calendar features a different beer for each day leading up to Christmas on December 25.
Kyle Geeraert, director of Origin Brewing, revealed that a sales agency played a crucial role in securing their spot in the calendar, which is available at Costco and Real Canadian Liquor Stores. “The idea of the calendar is that consumers don’t know what they have until they open it that day,” Geeraert explained, noting that the specific lager included remains under wraps.
Geeraert expressed pride in the brewery’s representation at a provincial level, emphasizing his family’s deep roots in Strathmore. “We’re also distributed in Saskatchewan and Manitoba and are looking to expand even further,” he added.
Alongside Origin Brewing, the advent calendar also features selections from other local breweries, including New Level Brewing, Big Rock Brewery, and Annex Ales.
