Kirin Brewery has solidified an exclusive agreement with Pernod Ricard for the distribution of their esteemed Japanese whisky brand, Fuji, throughout continental Europe.
Effective from the beginning of July 2023, this strategic collaboration will see Pernod Ricard assuming the role of exclusive distributor for Fuji whisky across a total of 13 markets, encompassing prominent regions such as France, Italy, Poland, and several central European countries.
While the partnership initially covers these 13 markets, Kirin Brewery Company, Limited has indicated the potential for expansion into additional geographies in the future.
This collaboration marks the second endeavor of its kind between Pernod Ricard and Kirin Brewery, following their longstanding partnership in distributing Four Roses bourbon across Europe and beyond.
FUJI whisky, the centerpiece of this partnership, is an exquisitely aged spirit crafted at the historic FUJI Gotemba Distillery. With an emphasis on Japanese artisanship, the brand offers a diverse selection of three aged whiskies: Single Grain, Single Malt, and Single Blended.
This partnership underscores the continued global appreciation for Japanese whisky, as well as the synergies that come from joining forces between two prominent names in the spirits industry.
