Deftones, the Sacramento-based alternative metal band, has partnered once again with Belching Beaver Brewery to release a new beer in anticipation of their upcoming ‘Dia de los Deftones’ festival. Scheduled for November 2 at Petco Park in San Diego, California, the festival will feature headlining performances from Deftones, along with acts like Idles, Sunny Day Real Estate, and HEALTH.
This year’s collaboration showcases a Mexican-style lager infused with lime, boasting an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 5%. An official product description highlights the brew’s appeal, stating, “combining the refreshing crushability of a lager and the exciting flavor of lime, this combo is perfect for hanging out on a warm, fall day listening to some of the best music by one of the most seminal bands of our time.”
Fans in California can pre-order the beer, with availability at the festival itself. Additionally, distribution is underway in Arizona and Colorado.
