by Kaia

Chouffe Brewery has officially launched a new addition to its lineup: Chouffe Session, a 4% ABV Belgian blond beer aimed at offering a lighter alternative to its traditional brews. The beer is the result of more than four decades of brewing expertise and comes in response to evolving consumer preferences for lower-alcohol options.

Described as both light and rich, Chouffe Session features the signature Chouffe spice and subtle fruit flavors, balanced with a mild bitterness and a smooth, warm aftertaste. Its approachable profile is designed to cater to a broad audience, providing a refreshing choice without compromising the distinctive character that Chouffe fans have come to expect.

Chris Bauweraerts, co-founder of Chouffe Brewery, shared his excitement about the product, saying, “Chouffe Session has been a long time in the making. With the rapid growth of the low- and no-alcohol category in recent years, we were determined to create a super-drinkable Belgian blond beer with a low ABV, without sacrificing the unique Chouffe flavor that consumers know and love.”

Bauweraerts continued, “We’re proud to introduce a new kind of Belgian beer that will redefine how people perceive Belgian blond beers on draft. Chouffe Session is an excellent alternative to lager, with enough body and spice to appeal to both lager lovers and ale enthusiasts alike.”

Looking ahead, Chouffe Brewery is planning to release a ready-to-drink version of Chouffe Session in the near future. “Watch this space,” Bauweraerts hinted, signaling further innovation from the brewery.
