OSIJEK, CROATIA – The 10th WineOS, a cornerstone event for wine enthusiasts in Croatia, will be held on January 10-11, 2025, in the Economic Centre of the Osijek-Baranja County. Organized by Graševina Croatica in partnership with the Dekanter association, the event marks a decade of bringing together the finest regional and international winemakers, food producers, and enthusiasts to celebrate the rich culture of winemaking in eastern Croatia.
A Highlight of the New Year Calendar
January, often regarded as a quiet and uneventful month, will be enlivened by WineOS, offering wine lovers two vibrant days in Osijek. Beyond the event, visitors are encouraged to explore the surrounding regions of Slavonia, Baranja, and Srijem, extending their experience with local wines and regional hospitality.
This year’s fair will feature a rich lineup of activities, including wine tastings, masterclasses, cooking shows, and panel discussions. For those looking to network, WineOS presents opportunities for producers to connect with distributors, restaurateurs, and hoteliers as they prepare wine lists for the upcoming tourist season.
A Decade of Growth and Collaboration
Conceived as the premier wine event in eastern Croatia, WineOS has steadily evolved into a must-attend gathering for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts alike. Supported since its inception by Graševina Croatica, the event has grown into a platform that not only highlights local wineries but also promotes international collaboration.
At last year’s edition, around 60% of participants hailed from Croatia, with the rest representing regions including Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Austria, and Spain. This diversity underscores WineOS’s reputation as a hub for cross-border exchange in winemaking.
