The Interstellar Kush IPA is a blend of distinctive hop varieties, including Strata, Talus, Cascade, Krush (formerly known as HBC 586), and HBC 1019. The result is a beer bursting with vibrant fruity aromas of ripe berry and juicy peach, balanced by earthy and dank undertones.

Max Shafer, Brewmaster at Pure Madness and a key figure in the collaboration, reflected on the project’s personal significance: “Both Roadhouse and Half Acre work closely through industry organizations that focus on hops, so teaming up felt like a natural fit. As a Chicago native, Half Acre’s Daisy Cutter was one of the first craft beers I ever fell in love with. To now collaborate on a beer like Interstellar Kush has truly come full circle for me.”

The Interstellar Kush IPA will be available on draft and in 16oz cans across the distribution territories of both Roadhouse Brewing Co. and Half Acre Beer Co.

The Kush series, known for its dedication to hop experimentation, has previously featured collaborations with other top breweries, including Creature Comforts Brewing from Athens, GA (Cosmic Kush), Templin Family Brewing from Salt Lake City, UT (Superdelic Kush), Odell Brewing from Colorado (Sublime Kush), and Mother Earth Brewing Co. from Vista, CA and Nampa, ID (Surreal Kush).

With Interstellar Kush, Roadhouse Brewing Co. continues to push the boundaries of hop-forward brewing while celebrating the artistry of collaboration within the craft beer community. Fans can expect more exciting releases in the series in the months to come.
