Houston, TX – Houston’s thriving craft beer scene just got a little more accessible. City Brew Tours, a Vermont-based company known for offering guided brewery tours across the U.S., is expanding its footprint to Houston. Starting December 14, Houstonians will be able to explore the city’s local breweries with the added convenience of a beer van, complete with a designated driver and a knowledgeable tour guide.
Each all-inclusive tour will include a roundtrip ride, visits to three local breweries, a tasting at each stop, and a snack break. Participants will also receive a 4-beer tasting flight at each brewery, a custom beer glass, and a can of their favorite brew from one of the stops.
City Brew Tours aims to offer both casual beer enthusiasts and seasoned aficionados an immersive experience into Houston’s vibrant brewing community. The tours are designed to highlight some of the city’s best-known breweries, including New Magnolia Brewing, Big Owl Craft Brew House, True Anomaly Brewing, and Spindletap Brewery, among others.
Pricing for the tours ranges from $89 to $99 per person, and each tour lasts about 3.5 hours. Customizable private tours and gift certificates are also available for those looking for a more personalized experience.
Founded in 2008, City Brew Tours currently operates in 22 cities across the United States, including Austin, Texas. The company’s expansion into Houston comes as the city continues to see growth in its craft beer culture. According to City Brew’s press release, Texas is home to over 360 breweries, with Houston accounting for more than 65 of them. The company has chosen Houston for its young yet dynamic beer scene, recognizing the city as a key destination for beer lovers.
