The Collingwood Brewery is gearing up to host its annual Craft Beer and Cider Fest, promising an even more exciting and extensive event this year. With an expanded lineup of participating breweries and cideries, this celebration of craft beverages is being moved to a warmer date, September 9, and is set to take place at the local beer garden.
The festival will feature a diverse array of offerings from 15 different breweries and cider producers, all congregating at The Collingwood Brewery’s beer garden on Sandford Fleming Drive.
Chris Freeman, Head Brewer, and General Manager at The Collingwood Brewery, expressed the decision to shift the event to September, saying, “Last year, the Fest was really popular, even in frigid November. So we thought, why not pull out all the stops. This area has really reached critical mass as a craft beverage destination—people know that now, so we’re making the most of it. Plus, early September takes advantage of daylight and warm weather.”
The Craft Beer and Cider Fest will run from noon to 7 p.m. on September 9, offering a delightful experience for attendees. In addition to the impressive selection of beverages, there will be ten breweries and five cideries, as well as the Misfits Hospitality food truck, live music, and a vendor marketplace. Admission to the festival is priced at $20, and tickets can be conveniently purchased online at TheCollingwoodBrewery.com.
This event showcases the thriving craft beverage culture in Collingwood, making it an excellent opportunity for locals and visitors alike to savor a wide range of craft beers and ciders while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and entertainment.
