Los Angeles, CA — December 19, 2024 — The 4th Annual Los Angeles Invitational Wine & Spirits Challenge is officially open for entries, continuing its rise as one of the most prominent and rapidly growing competitions in the United States’ wine and spirits industry.
Founded in partnership with Los Angeles-based beverage professionals, the challenge seeks to spotlight the world’s top wine and spirits producers. Each year, a prestigious panel of judges—including renowned winemakers, distillers, sommeliers, industry veterans, and influential media figures—carefully evaluates every submission. The event provides a vital platform for producers to gain recognition and visibility in one of the most important consumer markets in the U.S., Southern California.
The competition’s entry deadline is February 13, 2025, with early bird pricing available through February 3, 2025.
From February 26 to 28, 2025, a distinguished group of industry experts will gather in Los Angeles to judge and award outstanding wines and spirits. The Los Angeles Invitational is known for its rigorous standards, awarding only Gold medals or higher. As a result, brands that earn recognition are seen as truly exceptional. Gold Medal winners will receive a 90+ point score and a positive, marketable review from the judging panel, which helps to boost brand credibility and attract consumer interest.
The competition’s recognition can significantly impact sales and increase brand visibility, especially for small wineries and distilleries. Winners also benefit from digital medals in various formats, optimized for use in online promotions and social media.
In addition, winners will be featured in The Los Angeles Times, the official media partner of the competition. The Times will spotlight the winning brands to a broad audience of wine and spirits enthusiasts across Southern California. The recognition will be further amplified through ongoing digital promotions, virtual newsletters, and social media channels, ensuring winners gain long-lasting exposure far beyond the competition’s conclusion.
