Orlando’s craft brewery scene is receiving a boost this month with the launch of the ALE-Liance program, a collaborative celebration involving several of the city’s Main Street districts. This initiative is part of the upcoming Orlando Beer Week, which will showcase over 50 local beer-centric businesses across Orlando’s diverse neighborhoods.
The nine-day event, starting on January 24, will kick off with a special event at A La Cart in SoDo. Attendees will enjoy a draft lineup featuring locally sourced beers from Orlando-based breweries. The festivities will run through February 1, culminating in the formal debut of the ALE-Liance program, designed to highlight the city’s vibrant craft beer culture and its positive impact on the local community and culinary scene.
Angie Folks, executive director of The Milk District, emphasized the role of breweries beyond simply producing beer. “Brewery spaces do more than make and serve beer. They bring people together, creating a sense of community and connection in an inclusive environment,” she said in a statement.
The ALE-Liance program is being embraced by eight of Orlando’s 12 Main Street Districts, including Audubon Park, City District Orlando, Curry Ford West, Ivanhoe Village, Mills 50, The Milk District, SoDo District, and Thornton Park District. Together, they are raising a glass to the city’s thriving craft beer culture and its contributions to local life.
