The annual Frisco BrewSki, a one-of-a-kind beer festival on skis, will make its return to the Frisco Nordic Center on March 8.
Hosted by the Town of Frisco, the event offers participants the chance to ski or snowshoe along scenic trails while sampling beers from a variety of local breweries. The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m., starting at the Nordic Center lodge and continuing along the center’s groomed trails. Open to all ages and abilities, the BrewSki is designed to be an inclusive, non-competitive experience.
In addition to beer tasting, there will be awards for the best costumes, including categories for the most outrageous outfit to ski in and the best group ensemble. After the trail tour, an after-party at the Nordic Center lodge and deck will run from 4 to 5 p.m.
Participants will be able to sample brews from nine Colorado and Wyoming breweries, including Broken Compass Brewing, Eagle River Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing, Wibby Brewing, Outer Range Brewing Co., Roadhouse Brewing, Odell Brewing Co., Upslope Brewing Company, and Melvin Brewing.
Adult tickets are priced at $55, while tickets for participants under 21 are available for $25.
“This event has become a highlight for both locals and visitors,” said Linsey Joyce, Recreation Director for the Town of Frisco. “BrewSki combines the fun of skiing with the spirit of community, and it’s only growing in popularity. We expect it to sell out again this year!”
As one of the most anticipated events of the season, BrewSki offers a fun blend of outdoor adventure, festive costumes, and, of course, craft beer.
