The Leuven-based brewing giant sold 575.7 million hectolitres of beer and other beverages last year, marking a 1.4% drop compared to 2023. Sales of AB InBev’s own beer brands fell by 2% to 495.5 million hectolitres. The company attributed the decline primarily to a challenging consumer environment in China and Argentina. However, when excluding these two markets, the company saw a modest 0.9% increase in volume sales globally.

Despite the drop in sales volume, AB InBev saw a 4.3% increase in revenue per hectolitre, driven by disciplined pricing strategies and a focus on premium products. As a result, the company’s total revenue reached a record $59.8 billion (€57 billion), up 2.7% from the previous year.
