The two-day Encontro Sales and Portuguese-speaking Countries Products Experience Campaign will take place on March 28 and 29, organized by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM). The event is designed to showcase the products and culture of lusophone nations and provide an opportunity for both locals and tourists to explore the Pavilion of the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform, located in the Macao Peninsula.
According to IPIM’s official website, the campaign aims to increase awareness of products from Portuguese-speaking countries, with a particular focus on regional wines. Attendees can enjoy a wine tasting course, explore a handicraft workshop, and attend a culinary show. Participation in the wine tasting and crafts workshop will require pre-registration.
A special promotion will be available during the event: an on-site purchase of 300 patacas entitles buyers to an award-winning bottle of wine from a selection of highly recommended wines, for just 1 pataca, while supplies last.
The event will also feature guided tours of the pavilion, opportunities to interact with IPIM’s mascot, Pou Kong Ieng, and an engaging table football game.
The campaign coincides with the visit of Portuguese Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, who will be in Macao after a four-day visit to mainland China. The event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, at Basement Level 1 of the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
