MISSOULA, Mont. — Bayern Brewing is celebrating the upcoming Montana International Choral Festival with the launch of a new beer, the Montana International Choral Festival Pilsener, aimed at supporting the event this summer.
At a special event on Tuesday, Bayern Brewing announced that for every pint of Choral Festival Pilsener sold, $1 would be donated to the festival.
Jurgen Knoller, the owner of Bayern Brewing, has been a long-time supporter of the festival. He attended its inaugural event in 1987 and has continued to be an advocate ever since. Knoller described the festival as one of the most impactful events in Missoula.
“The power of the voice is unmatched,” Knoller said. “For anyone who has never experienced it, I strongly encourage you to do so. It’s an overwhelming and unforgettable experience.”
This year, the Montana International Choral Festival, which will be held from July 17-20, is expected to bring together over 300 international singers from around the globe.
