Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries among store employees, although the traumatic events understandably left some shaken. Shawn Kelly, the Press Secretary for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, conveyed in a statement that the decision to close the stores was primarily made in the interest of employee safety. Additionally, assessments will be conducted to determine the extent of damage sustained by the stores. Subsequently, the stores will reopen once safety can be assured and necessary repairs have been completed.

“We extend our sincerest apologies to our valued customers for any inconvenience caused and express our gratitude for their patience and understanding during this challenging time,” Kelly remarked.
