(KTVZ) – Distinguished brewers and discerning judges hailing from across the Pacific Northwest recently converged upon the hop-rich lands of Central Oregon and Yakima, Washington to assess the extraordinary freshness of Wet Hop beers, sourced from as far afield as Texas, Virginia, New Jersey, and Saskatchewan, Canada.
This unique competition unfolded over two distinct judging sessions, offering brewers the opportunity to showcase their prowess with hops harvested at varying times and across multiple states. The inaugural “Early Harvest” session unfolded at Three Creeks Brewing in Sisters on September 24th, while the subsequent “Late Harvest” event took place at Single Hill Brewing in Yakima on October 15th.
The Best of Craft Beer Awards has once again spotlighted excellence in the world of craft brewing, with the winners of its prestigious Fresh Hop Competition now unveiled.
