Festival co-director Aaron Sandow emphasizes the significance of this year’s theme, “Ale We Need Is Love,” stating that it transcends mere motto status. “It’s a rallying cry for the community to come out and be our best selves together, arm in arm and beer in hand,” Sandow affirms.

In a time when the festival, live music, craft beer, and hospitality industries face unprecedented challenges, the festival aims to unite people and celebrate the resilience of these thriving sectors.

While only two of the announced performers hail from South Australia, including Adelaide’s BAD//DREEMS and Peter Combe with The Newspaper Mama Band, the festival promises to unveil an additional lineup of approximately 40 local artists in its second announcement on May 16th.

Adding to the excitement, four bands from across regional South Australia will join the lineup as part of the festival’s Untapped battle of the bands competition, sponsored by the Music Development Office.

Beyond beer and barbeque, attendees can expect a diverse array of activities including BMX demos, panel discussions, a pie-eating contest, axe throwing, and even a tattoo parlour.
