White Claw Introduces New Summer Flavours to UK Market

White Claw, the popular hard seltzer brand, has unveiled its latest offerings for summer in the UK. Originally launched in the US earlier this year, the new Passion Fruit and Pineapple hard seltzers join the lineup, maintaining a 4.5% ABV and containing 95 calories per can. This is slightly lighter than the US range, which boasts a 5% ABV and 100 calories per can.

Crafted with sparkling water, triple-distilled spirit, and natural fruit flavors, the new additions to White Claw’s range are free from artificial sweeteners. They are available in a variety pack of four 330ml cans, retailing at an RRP of £7.50 (US$9.50) at Sainsbury’s.

These additions bring the total number of flavours in White Claw’s flagship hard seltzer range to 14, with seven currently available in the UK. The brand also diversified its portfolio in December 2023 by introducing an alcohol-free range.

Beyond its core hard seltzer offerings, White Claw has expanded into other categories such as vodka and ready-to-drink Tequila seltzers branded as Tequila Smash.

Despite a 4% decline in volume sales in 2023, as reported in this year’s Brand Champions report, White Claw remains a significant player in the global spirits market, maintaining its position as the second best-selling spirits brand worldwide.

Founded in 2016 and owned by Mark Anthony Brands, White Claw initially gained popularity as a light alcohol malt-based beverage.
