Unique Aging Process in Patagonia

“Our barrels for Bosque Refugios rest in a cabin at 1,000 meters above sea level in Patagonia, at the foot of the Andes,” explained Bruno Ananía, founder of Bosque. “The altitude and reduced oxygen levels, combined with the low temperatures, delicately influence the wood and the ambient oxygen on the liquid.”

This unique process subtly generates new flavors and aromas, tending towards vanilla, nuts, and honey.

Upcoming Availability in the US

The Refugios cask-rested gin will soon be available in the US market.

Award-Winning Gin

Bosque Gin recently received Gold and Silver awards for its Nativo and Alta Montaña expressions at The Gin Masters 2024. “Every award or medal is a source of pride,” Ananía remarked. “It reminds us of our project’s beginnings, and we continue with the same spirit and desire to grow. We remain faithful to our production methods and artisanal format, blending flavor with sustainability to inspire a greener, more conscious world.”

Global Reach and Production

Bosque currently exports to over 20 countries, including the US, UK, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil, France, Belgium, Denmark, and Japan. The company produces 450,000 bottles of gin annually and has distribution agreements with major companies in each region, including AB InBev in Argentina and Compañía Dei Caraibi in Italy, the US, and Spain.
