This year’s Coffs Harbour fair attracted a vibrant crowd with its lineup of seven vineyards, six breweries, and two distilleries, alongside a selection of local producers from the Coffs Coast region. Attendees enjoyed unlimited sampling of craft beverages and gourmet foods throughout the event.
The fair also featured a silent auction fundraiser, hosted by Triple M breakfast presenter Michael Moffett, which benefited from the generosity of various local businesses and private donors.
Bob Carle, President of Coffs City Rotary, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed. “Thank you to all our Rotarians and their partners involved, the exhibitors, and everyone who donated goods and services for our silent auction. Your support will be utilized effectively,” he stated, emphasizing that the funds raised would be allocated carefully to the charities they assist.
Participating for the fifth consecutive year, a representative from Fresco Marketplace praised the event as an excellent fundraising opportunity. “It’s a great chance to meet and connect with locals who may not be familiar with our business,” the spokesperson said. “We donated our products and time at the event, and this year, some of our suppliers, including Provedores and Bellingen Smokehouse, also contributed.”
Looking ahead, Mr. Carle anticipates even greater involvement from local businesses next year. “The fair’s success underscores the strong community spirit in Coffs Harbour, and the funds raised will significantly impact the local charities we support,” he concluded.
