CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Weis Markets has completed renovations at its Chambersburg location, with a new Beer & Wine Café set to open on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 AM.
The renovations, announced in April, transformed the store at 1056 Wayne Avenue in Franklin County. Key upgrades include a Beer & Wine Café featuring an extensive selection of 300 wines and 450 beer varieties, an expanded dairy department, and refreshed décor. Customers will also find an increased selection of prepared meals, specialty cheeses, and organic products in both the dairy and frozen sections.
In celebration of the grand opening, Weis Markets will donate a total of $1,500 to local organizations, including $500 each to the Chambersburg Area School District Foundation, Chambersburg Recreation Center, and Chambersburg Police Department.
Founded in 1912, Weis Markets operates 197 stores across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, and Virginia.
