Frozé Arizona Celebrates One-Year Anniversary in Old Town Scottsdale

by Ivy

Business owners Courtney Harrison and PJ Coleman are marking a significant milestone: the first anniversary of their unique restaurant, Frozé Arizona, located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale at 4151 N. Marshall Way. Specializing in frozen wine concoctions and gourmet sandwiches, Frozé has quickly become a local favorite.

Harrison and Coleman, who met at their children’s preschool, were no strangers to entrepreneurship when they opened their establishment. “We both have kids close in age and bonded over our children, our love of food, and travel,” Harrison shared. “We have talked for years about doing something together, and Arizona Frozé seemed like the perfect venture.”

Coleman, a Scottsdale native, and Harrison, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, each maintain their respective businesses alongside Frozé. Coleman runs Paula Jacqueline Cakes and Pastries, situated in the same building, while Harrison manages NNB Agency, an insurance firm specializing in surety bonds.

Recognizing a gap in the market, they decided to bring the Frozé concept to Arizona. “We loved the idea of a Frozé bar,” Harrison explained, noting their surprise at discovering that no such establishment existed in the state. “Old Town has a fun, lively atmosphere, and we thought a Frozé bar would be a fantastic addition.”

Frozé Arizona offers six frozen flavors on tap, crafted from rosé wine, premium fruit purees, and complementary spirits. The menu also features a selection of gourmet sandwiches, including the Goldwater, a classic egg salad on artisanal bread, and the Stetson, which combines salami, pepperoni, and ham with fresh vegetables and provolone, served on a toasted hoagie. In addition to sandwiches, patrons can enjoy chopped salads and charcuterie boards.

“Our unique concept sets us apart,” Harrison said. “All of our recipes are created in-house using the finest ingredients. Our sandwiches and salads are fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is vibrant and fun.”

Reflecting on their first year, Harrison expressed surprise at how much they enjoy running the business. “We have loved hearing all the great feedback about how good everything is,” she remarked. “Seeing our customers enjoy themselves and hearing their laughter has been incredibly rewarding.”

To celebrate their anniversary, Frozé Arizona has planned a series of special events starting Tuesday, October 1. Guests who enter dancing will receive a swag bag filled with goodies. On October 2, all Frozé drinks will be available for $10 all day. Patrons donning cowboy boots on October 3 can purchase a sandwich for just $10, while October 4 will feature a day-long happy hour with discounts on Frozé charcuterie boards. To wrap up the festivities, Frozé wine bottles will be 25% off on October 5.

Frozé Arizona is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
