Crafted with meticulous attention, the 6.5% ABV ruby black porter has garnered renown for its alluring amalgamation of chocolate and caramelized fruit notes, complemented by delicate undertones of black toffee aromas. The unveiling of this laudable achievement took center stage at this year’s Great British Beer Festival (GBBF), a culmination of rigorous judging following a spirited competition.
Reflecting on the resounding victory of the 1872 Porter, master brewer Rob Thomas of Elland Brewery expressed his astonishment, stating, “To secure this accolade is truly beyond our expectations, an absolutely unbelievable triumph.
