DULUTH, Minn. — Ursa Minor Brewing has achieved national recognition by winning a bronze medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in Colorado. The brewery’s Irish-Style Red Ale, named “Equanimity,” secured third place in its category during the competition held on Saturday.
“Equanimity” is celebrated for its malty and crisp flavor profile. Notably, the brew previously earned a gold medal in the same category at the GABF in 2022, highlighting its consistency and quality.
Additionally, two breweries from Minneapolis also took home gold medals at this year’s festival. Arbeiter Brewing Co. won first place in the German-Style Pilsener category for its “HaHa Pils,” while Northbound Smokehouse Brewpub’s “Eisbock” clinched first place in the German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock category.
