The year 2015 presented a mix of weather challenges for the Champagne region, beginning with a wet spring followed by a warm and dry summer. Despite these conditions, the quality of the fruit remained exceptional. The healthy red grapes yielded a remarkable harvest, notably excelling in both Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier varieties. The Vintage 2015 is crafted predominantly from 70% Pinot Noir, sourced from premier Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, including Mailly and Verzenay. The remaining 30% of the blend comprises Pinot Meunier from Chigny les Roses, Rilly la Montagne, and Ludes, creating a complex profile that pushes the boundaries of traditional champagne blending.
