Salt Lake City International Airport saw the inaugural nonstop flight to Sonoma County, California, take off on Thursday, October 24. The flight, operated by Avelo Airlines, marks a significant milestone as the airport’s 100th nonstop route.
Avelo Airlines, which recently became SLC’s 14th carrier, will provide twice-weekly service to Sonoma County, with flights available on Thursdays and Sundays. One-way fares for the new route start at $57, offering travelers a budget-friendly option to visit California’s wine country.
Founded in 2021, Houston-based Avelo Airlines has rapidly expanded its network to include 54 destinations across 24 states and three countries.
