GROSSE POINTE WOODS, MI — Ishpinder Sahni, 31, faces charges for allegedly embezzling more than $350,000 from Woods Wholesale Wine, where he served as chief operating officer from 2021 to 2023.
According to the charges, Sahni is accused of diverting online sales into his personal bank account during his tenure at the wine shop. It is also alleged that he failed to report this income on his Michigan tax returns.
Sahni is scheduled to appear in the Grosse Pointe Woods Municipal Court on November 13 at 9 a.m. for a probable cause conference.
