In a noteworthy collaboration, two esteemed British breweries, Timothy Taylor’s and Thornbridge, have come together to launch a highly anticipated pale ale this month.
This unique partnership combines the heritage of West Yorkshire’s Timothy Taylor’s, renowned for its flagship ale Landlord, and Derbyshire-based Thornbridge, acclaimed for its award-winning IPA Jaipur. This collaboration holds special significance for Timothy Taylor’s as it marks the brewery’s inaugural venture into collaborative brewing in its remarkable 165-year history.
Simon Webster, CEO of Thornbridge, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Having been a fan of and enjoyed Landlord long before Thornbridge’s brewing journey began, it’s been an exciting experience for myself and the team to contribute to their first-ever collaboration.”
The result of this collaboration is a refreshing elderflower and gooseberry pale ale named Artesian, boasting an ABV of 4.2%. Crafted at Thornbridge Brewery, the beer will be available nationwide in various formats, including cask, keg, and 440ml cans, catering to both on-trade and off-trade consumers.
The partnership between these iconic breweries not only showcases their dedication to innovation and excellence but also celebrates the rich brewing heritage of Britain. This collaboration has garnered significant anticipation from beer enthusiasts and is poised to make a noteworthy impact in the realm of craft brewing.
