Renowned professional golfer Brooks Koepka has ventured into the world of Tequila as he becomes an investor in Casa Azul.
Koepka, celebrated for his victory in the US Open and his recent PGA Championship win, joins a distinguished group of investors that includes Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs American football team and American golfer Michelle Wie West.
Lance Collins, the founder of Casa Azul, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We’re passionate about creating amazing Tequila, and we’ve always been inspired by Brooks Koepka and his passion on and off the greens. We share his commitment to excellence and we’re honoured to welcome him into the blue house.”
Casa Azul introduced its brand in August 2020 with a range of ready-to-drink (RTD) Tequila-based sodas. This was followed by the launch of a selection of Tequilas in May 2023, in collaboration with Mexican actress Eiza González.
Brooks Koepka, a prominent figure in American golf, emphasized his excitement for this investment, stating, “Being passionate about something means you’re always evolving and looking for ways to improve. Lance Collins and Casa Azul saw a clear opportunity to create products that taste amazing because they’re crafted the right way. I’m excited to invest in a brand that’s bringing innovation and integrity to Tequila.”
Casa Azul Tequila stands out as a product crafted from single estate agave, cultivated organically, and developed through the expertise of a multi-generational family of distillers and agave farmers.
