Deftones have expanded their beverage portfolio with the announcement of Tone Zero, their first non-alcoholic beer. Known for their craft beer collaborations, the alt-metal band has previously released over a dozen alcoholic varieties.
Tone Zero, a Japanese-style rice lager, was developed in partnership with DrinkSip and is the inaugural release in a planned series of non-alcoholic options. In a statement, the band encouraged fans to “raise your glass” whether they are taking a break from alcohol or choosing to abstain altogether.
This announcement follows the launch of Dia De Los Deftones Mexican Style Lager with Lime, created in collaboration with Belching Beaver Brewery, coinciding with their annual festival on November 2nd.
