The highly anticipated Washington Winter Beer Fest is less than a month away, taking place on December 20 and 21. For many beer enthusiasts in the Seattle area, this annual event has become a beloved holiday tradition, and the time to secure tickets is now.
Organized by the Washington Brewers Guild, this year’s festival introduces several exciting changes. Most notably, the event is relocating to a new venue, offering a more refined setting for attendees. This marks a departure from the event’s previous location at Magnuson Park’s WWII-era hangar. The festival will now be hosted at Victory Hall, a modern venue that opened a few years ago in the building formerly occupied by Pyramid Brewing. Victory Hall, located near Hatback Grille and Steelheads Alley—where Métier Brewing now operates—offers a more upscale atmosphere while maintaining the festival’s festive spirit.
The 2024 Winter Beer Fest will feature two sessions: one on Friday and another on Saturday. With a new, token-free format, attendees will enjoy unlimited tastings of exclusive brews, some of which are only available at the event. However, festivalgoers will be expected to adhere to a code of conduct, ensuring a responsible drinking experience. The organizers emphasize that while the tastings will be unlimited, the focus is on quality and moderation.
“The beers are strong, the company’s warm, and the festivities are high,” said event organizers in a statement. “This long-running festival is full of all the charm and fun the holiday season brings. With special seasonal beers, an epic booth decoration contest, and enough mirth and joy to get you through to January 2025, Winter Beer Fest will be a festival no one will want to miss.”
In addition to the new venue, the festival will feature seasonal brews and a vibrant atmosphere designed to enhance the holiday spirit. The event promises to be a highlight of the season, offering a memorable experience for both craft beer aficionados and casual drinkers alike.
