Fulton Brewing Teams Up with Kelly Pannek for New Beer Celebrating Athlete’s Historic Career

by Kaia

Fulton Brewing has launched a new beer in collaboration with Kelly Pannek, star forward for Minnesota Frost, to honor her exceptional athletic career. The beer, called Been There Won That, is inspired by Fulton’s popular Lonely Blonde Ale and features a crisp, clean taste with a mix of berry fruit on the nose.

The name of the beer is a nod to Pannek’s membership in the prestigious Quadruple Gold Club, an exclusive group for athletes who have won four major titles. Pannek’s accolades include Olympic Gold, an IIHF Women’s World Championship, a PWHL Walter Cup, and an NCAA Division I National Championship.

A portion of the proceeds from each pink-hued beer pack sold will benefit the Mosaic Hockey Collective, a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to fostering an inclusive hockey community.

Pannek expressed her pride in the collaboration, noting, “Fulton’s Sweet Child of Vine was the first IPA I enjoyed with my family when I turned 21, so the opportunity to partner with one of my favorite breweries to create a beer that celebrates women’s hockey and promotes inclusivity for players of color is incredibly meaningful to me.”
