High West Whiskey and Casa Noble Tequila Partner for Limited-Edition “The Noble Share” Rye Whiskey

by Kaia

High West Whiskey and Casa Noble Tequila have teamed up to release a limited-edition rye whiskey, The Noble Share, priced at $174.99. The exclusive expression is finished in barrels previously used for aging Marques de Casa Noble Añejo tequila, with a small portion also finished in Amburana barrels, adding a unique layer of complexity to the blend.

The Noble Share boasts an ABV of 52% and is crafted from a blend of rye whiskeys aged between 4 and 10 years. The blend includes rye whiskey from MGP, with a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, as well as High West’s own distillate, made from an 80% rye and 20% malted rye mashbill.

The release is designed to appeal to both whiskey and tequila enthusiasts alike. “High West is honored to blend its rich whiskey traditions with Casa Noble’s storied heritage,” said Tara Lindley, High West’s Director of Sensory & New Product Development. “While the Casa Noble Marques Añejo barrels are at the heart of this expression, a portion of the blend has also been finished in Amburana barrels — adding layers of complexity and introducing a delicate hint of cinnamon that beautifully complements the bold, spice-forward character of High West rye. Together, these barrels create a richly textured, harmonious expression that celebrates the artistry of blending.”

The collaboration marks a significant release for both brands, following High West’s earlier unveiling of a Bottled-in-Bond whiskey this year, which was a long-awaited product cherished by the production team, including Isaac Winter.

  • Taste: Freshly fried churro, orange blossom, black licorice, oak.

The Noble Share offers a complex and harmonious profile, blending the bold spice of rye with the sweet, smoky flavors imparted by the tequila barrels, creating a whiskey that’s both familiar and entirely new. This limited release is expected to be a hit among whiskey lovers and tequila aficionados alike.
