MENDOZA, Argentina (Dec. 13, 2024) — Bodega Trivento, the world’s top-selling Argentine wine brand, has officially opened its highly anticipated restaurant, Los Vientos, at its Maipú winery in Mendoza. The new dining destination aims to offer an immersive experience, highlighting the rich flavors of the region and celebrating the best of local produce and traditional cuisine.
“Our goal with Los Vientos is to provide guests with a memorable, authentic Mendocinean experience,” said Fernanda Vila, Deputy Manager of Tourism & Hospitality at Trivento. “Every dish is designed to complement and elevate the tasting of our wines, particularly those from our prized vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley.”
Guests at Los Vientos have two menu options curated by Chef Nacho Molina: a three-course à la carte menu ($90) and a seven-course tasting menu ($120). Both experiences feature the winery’s signature White Malbec as a cocktail and are paired with wines from Trivento’s Golden Reserve line, as well as exclusive selections available only at the restaurant.
Chef Molina emphasized the seasonal nature of the menu, which adapts to the variety of local ingredients each season brings. This year’s spring menu showcases fresh vegetables, herbs, and locally sourced meats. Dishes include mushroom tempura with hazelnut gremolata, beef tenderloin with tuber mille-feuille and crispy cassava chips, and desserts such as Malbec granita and corn flan with whipped custard and candied pumpkin seeds.
As a B Corp-certified winery, Trivento integrates environmental and social responsibility into the operations of Los Vientos. The restaurant is committed to minimizing its ecological impact by sourcing ingredients locally, managing waste responsibly, and supporting community development and fair labor practices.
Los Vientos is open for lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
