Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation Presents “September Sips” at City Center Bishop Ranch to Celebrate California Wine Month

SAN RAMON, CA – The spirit of California Wine Month continues to flourish with the upcoming “September Sips” event, hosted by the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation. This celebration promises to be a delightful afternoon for wine enthusiasts at the City Center Bishop Ranch, featuring the participation of nearly 20 esteemed wineries.

Set against the backdrop of the San Ramon retail complex, this event offers guests the opportunity to indulge in wine tastings and delectable small bites. Attendees of either of the two sessions, running from 1-2:30 p.m. or 3-4:30 p.m., will be greeted with a warm welcome, receiving a complimentary wine glass, a wristband, and a curated map outlining the locations of participating wineries and stores offering delectable food and wine samples. Adding to the ambiance, a jazz trio will provide live music in Alexander Square, enhancing the overall experience.

Jeff Dodd, Senior Vice President of Retail for City Center, shared his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This event is not only about celebrating California Wine Month and sipping exquisite wines but also about coming together to support local businesses and charities. During the first session, attendees will have the opportunity to savor wines from notable wineries, including Almost Famous Wine Company, Cellar 13, Del Valle Winery, Fenestra Winery, Las Positas Vineyards, Longevity Wines, McGrail Vineyards and Winery, Rosa Fierro Cellars, and Wood Family Vineyards.

The second session promises an equally impressive lineup, featuring Bent Creek Winery, Charles R Vineyards, Concannon Vineyard, Darcie Kent Estate Winery, Garre Vineyard and Winery, McGrail Vineyards and Winery, Murrieta’s Well, Occasio Winery, Page Mill Winery, and Pruett Farms.

“September Sips will bring the community together by bringing the people of San Ramon out while supporting local businesses,” Dodd added. “By partnering with a number of wineries from the East Bay… we can celebrate California Wine Month all together with a toast to the great wine found in the area.”

“September Sips” will take place at the City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon on the upcoming Sunday, September 10th, featuring two 90-minute wine-tasting sessions from 1-4:30 p.m. Tickets for this enjoyable celebration of California Wine Month are available at lvwine.org.
