As the exclusive importer for the U.S. market, Prestige will handle all sales and trade marketing efforts for the iconic brand, reinforcing its commitment to offering premium wines to consumers nationwide.
Santo Wines, previously known as the Union of Santorini Cooperatives, was founded in 1911 as the “Santorini Vine & Wine Protection Fund.” The cooperative, which represents 1,200 local farmers, is the largest wine producer on the island, responsible for 30% of Santorini’s total wine production. Santo Wines is recognized globally for its exceptional Santorini Assyrtiko, a signature white wine variety. The cooperative is dedicated to preserving traditional cultivation techniques, producing wines under the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) label, and promoting sustainability in its practices.
