For the third consecutive year, 4 Pines Brewing Co has introduced its limited-edition Pink Beer, a rosé-colored lager created in collaboration with Cricket Australia and the McGrath Foundation. The beer, which debuted on 1 January, made its first appearance at the iconic Sydney Pink Test and will now be available for a limited time at select Sydney venues.
All proceeds from the sale of 4 Pines Pink Beer will be donated to the McGrath Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support for individuals and families affected by cancer. The initiative underscores 4 Pines’ commitment to social impact and community engagement.
Sarah Turner, 4 Pines’ Environmental & Social Impact Advisor and President of the Pink Boots Society charity, emphasized the brewery’s dedication to the cause. “At 4 Pines, we’re proud to support the McGrath Foundation’s mission to ensure that everyone experiencing cancer receives the care they deserve,” Turner said. “Many of us have loved ones affected by cancer, and this partnership is our way of standing with them and making a tangible difference.”
Tracy Bevan, Ambassador and Director of the McGrath Foundation, praised the collaboration and its significance. “The Pink Test is a pivotal event for us,” Bevan noted. “Thanks to the incredible support from our community and partners like 4 Pines, we can continue to fund our breast care nurses, who provide essential clinical, psychosocial, and emotional support to those affected by cancer.”
The Pink Beer initiative is part of 4 Pines’ broader efforts to enhance its environmental and social impact. The brewery, owned by CUB, holds B-Corp certification, is a member of 1% for the Planet, and has been recognized by Great Places to Work Australia.
This year’s Pink Beer release not only highlights 4 Pines’ innovative approach to brewing but also reinforces its commitment to creating meaningful change through partnerships and community-driven initiatives.
