MARYSVILLE, WA – 5 Rights Brewing is gearing up for its sixth annual Hazy Days of Winter event, set to take place from January 23rd to 25th. The three-day celebration of hazy beers brings together local enthusiasts and guest breweries from across the U.S., including Alaska and North Dakota, for a unique tasting experience.
This year’s event marks not only the return of the beloved hazy beer festival but also the launch of 5 Rights Brewing’s 10th anniversary celebrations. In addition to offering a selection of exclusive hazy brews, the event will feature the debut of a special collaboration beer, Crush the Groove Hazy IPA, brewed in partnership with Reuben’s Brews. The IPA will be available both on tap and in cans, at 5 Rights Brewing, Reuben’s Brews taproom, and select distributors.
Co-owner and brewer R.J. Whitlow described the event as a way to bring a slice of summer to the gloomy winter months. “It’s that rainy, darker, and colder time of year again when we start to long for a vacation to someplace sunny and warm,” Whitlow said. “In case you can’t get away this year to a tropical island somewhere, we like to take a weekend in January and transport the whole taproom into a tropical paradise—to bring a taste of Summer to all of us in the middle of Winter.”
The event will run during regular taproom hours at 5 Rights Brewing, located at 1514 3rd Street, Marysville, WA. Tickets are priced at $24 and include a taster tray of five 5-ounce pours, along with a souvenir glass. Additional tastings can be purchased after the initial ticket. Tickets will be available at the counter upon arrival.
The event serves as the perfect kickoff to what is sure to be a year filled with exciting collaborations, as the brewery plans to release 10 different beers in partnership with breweries along the West Coast.
