Reuben’s Brews has revived a fan-favorite in a new form, launching the Brighten Up IPA, a reimagined version of the award-winning Triumvirate IPA. This brew, which originally debuted as a collaboration with Brouwer’s Cafe, was created for the three establishments in the Brouwer’s family: Brouwer’s Cafe, Burgundian, and Bottleworks. With two of those locations now closed, the beer lives on, rebranded and slightly modified for a new generation of beer lovers.
Brighten Up IPA brings a vibrant twist to the lineup with a blend of Mosaic, Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, and Simcoe hops. Its crisp finish, light body, and bold flavors of grapefruit, passionfruit, and a hint of pine aim to lift your spirits, offering a perfect balance of juicy sweetness and refreshment. The beer’s release coincides with a new marketing slogan: “When life gives you grey skies, grab a Brighten Up IPA.”
The can’s design complements the beer’s bright and uplifting character, evoking imagery of the rare clear skies that occasionally break through the Pacific Northwest’s winter gloom.
To celebrate the launch, Reuben’s Brews is hosting a Brighten Up Neon Party on Saturday, January 18th, at their Ballard taproom. Guests are invited to don their brightest neon outfits, sample the new IPA, and participate in fun, family-friendly photo ops. A professional photographer will be on hand to capture moments from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Attendees will receive their photos almost immediately as a fun memento of the occasion.
For those eager to try the new beer, Reuben’s Brews encourages fans to use their Beer Finder tool to locate Brighten Up IPA at a nearby retailer.
