Three Tails Brewery has introduced its latest creation, Love and Chaos, a unique brew developed through a collaboration with the Love and Chaos Tattoo Gallery in Mudgee. The partnership merges the world of tattoo artistry with the craft of brewing, resulting in a custom-designed, mid-strength Helles Lager.
The beer, which is available both on-tap and in cans, features original artwork by Scott Menzies, the owner of Love and Chaos Tattoo Gallery. Menzies’ bold design captures the essence of the beer, which is noted for its malty sweetness and refreshing flavor, accented with floral and citrus notes.
Mick Ash, co-owner of Three Tails Brewery, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, describing Love and Chaos as a “one-of-a-kind” brew. “It combines everything people love about Three Tails beer with Scott’s custom artwork, which embodies the beer’s vibe—crushable, refreshing, and with a delicate touch of floral and citrus hops,” Ash said.
Ash also reflected on the artistic similarities between tattooing and brewing. “Both tattooing and brewing are forms of art, with rich histories of craftsmanship and creativity. This partnership highlights Mudgee’s vibrant creative community,” he added.
For Menzies, the collaboration was an exciting opportunity to merge his passion for art with brewing. “It’s an honor to be part of this project. Combining my art with the craftsmanship of the Three Tails team was a great experience, and the beer tastes fantastic! It’s always a pleasure working with such a great group of people,” Menzies shared.
Love and Chaos is the latest in a series of collaboration beers from Three Tails Brewery, which previously teamed up with Acreage Coffee and Spencer Cocoa on the Mudgee Mochaccino, and with Logan Wines for Two Worlds Collide #2.
The new beer is available both on-tap and in cans at Three Tails Brewery and select stockists throughout Central West New South Wales.
