A new beer hall, Distro Beer Hub, is set to open in South End this spring, according to a spokesperson who confirmed the news to Axios.
Why it matters: The venture is notable for its collaboration among four North Carolina breweries, offering a unique drinking and dining experience.
What to expect: Distro Beer Hub will feature a variety of local brewers, including Charlotte’s Heist Brewery and Divine Barrel Brewing, Asheville’s DSSOLVR, and Winston-Salem’s Incendiary Brewing. The space will have five dedicated stalls: one for each brewery, alongside one offering cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beer options.
The food menu will include small plates, burgers, and sushi, complemented by an outdoor beer garden and bar seating. The venue will also be equipped to brew its own beer on-site.
What’s next: Distro Beer Hub is scheduled to open by early May at 2412 Distribution St.
The big picture: South End’s brewery scene has been central to the neighborhood’s identity. Today, Charlotte is home to a thriving brewery scene, with the original establishments continuing to grow and host a variety of events, from casual meetups to weddings.
