Greek Beer Festival Returns to Athens for a Three-Day Celebration of Craft Brews

Beer enthusiasts are in for a treat as the 2nd Greek Beer Festival | Only Craft returns to Athens from March 28 to 30. Hosted at the Old Depot OSY (Amaxostasio) in Gazi, the festival promises to showcase a wide selection of Greece’s best craft beers, along with lively entertainment and delicious street food.

Organized with support from the Small Independent Brewers of Greece Association, the event will feature dozens of locally brewed beers from across the country. Attendees will have the chance to sample unique brews from various regions including Athens, Corfu, Kalamata, Ikaria, Patra, Larissa, Messinia, Halkidiki, Serres, Thessaloniki, and Komotini.

The festival’s vibrant atmosphere will be complemented by an eclectic music lineup, offering performances in rock, house, hip-hop, reggae, and ska genres. The festivities will kick off at 17:00 on Friday, March 28, and continue through the weekend, wrapping up with a lively Greek island party. This closing event will celebrate the musical traditions of islands such as Ikaria, Crete, and other Aegean destinations.
