Melton Mowbray-based Round Corner Brewing has made a remarkable achievement at the European Beer Challenge, claiming five double gold medals – more than any other brewery in Europe. Additionally, all ten of the brewery’s entries in the prestigious competition earned a medal.
The double gold-winning beers were:
- Steeplechase Pale Ale (4.4% ABV)
- Hopping Spree West Coast IPA (6.6% ABV)
- Society for the Encouragement of Virtue, Rum Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (12% ABV)
- Gunmetal Black Lager (4.8% ABV)
- Underwater Song Baltic Porter (8.2% ABV)
