Last year’s inaugural event, which replaced long-standing favorites like the Spring Beer Fest and Peculiar Pours, attracted over 1,000 attendees. The success of the first Ogden Beer Fest helped establish the event as a staple in the city’s beverage scene. According to Chase Burch, the event’s co-founder and producer, the positive reception was fueled by the growing popularity of local beer culture. “Beer is something people enjoy in their everyday lives, and many people enjoy it together,” Burch said. “It’s nice to create a space for people to celebrate that outside of just a bar setting.”

The 2025 edition will feature a wide array of local breweries and beverage vendors, with many of them hailing from Utah. Confirmed participants include Ogden Beer Co., Roosters Brewing Co., UTOG Brewing Co., Talisman Brewing Co., Ogden’s Own Distillery, Epic Brewing Co., Squatters Craft Beers, Wasatch Brewery, Second Summit Hard Cider Co., and Mountain West Hard Cider Co.

Organizers are working to improve the event experience based on feedback from last year, with enhanced logistics for shorter lines and smoother crowd flow. In addition to the drinks, attendees will be treated to live music from The Banyan Collective’s “Van Sessions” and food from Lucky Slice Pizza and Weller’s Bistro. Many of the artists and vendors at The Monarch are also expected to open their doors during the event, providing even more opportunities for attendees to explore local talent.

“We’re here to celebrate the crafting community of beer in Ogden,” Burch added, emphasizing the event’s focus on fostering local craftsmanship and community spirit.

With growing enthusiasm for the local beer scene, the Ogden Beer Fest is poised to become a major event on the city’s annual calendar.
