Breweries from the Finger Lakes and Central New York region have made a strong showing at the prestigious New York State Craft Beer Competition, earning multiple medals in various categories.

Strangebird of Rochester, Okay Beer of Honeoye Falls, and The Other Half Brewing, which has locations in East Bloomfield and Canandaigua, each took home gold medals. Genesee Brew House also garnered a gold medal along with a bronze, further solidifying its reputation in the craft beer scene.
