Senior leaders from global brewing giants AB InBev, Asahi, Heineken, Molson Coors, Diageo, and Budweiser Budvar will headline the 2023 International Beer Strategies event, hosted by Just Drinks later this month. The two-day conference, taking place on April 29 and 30, will be held at the Cubex Centrum in Prague, Czech Republic, in collaboration with Arena International, the event’s partner.
The conference will bring together industry leaders, analysts, and experts to address the key challenges and trends currently shaping the global beer market. This year’s programme offers attendees a series of high-profile discussions, fireside chats, and roundtable sessions designed to foster insight and networking opportunities across a wide range of topics.
Day one of the event will open with a fireside chat featuring Dragos Constantinescu, CEO of Asahi’s Europe & International division. Following this, Helen Green, Director of Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability at Molson Coors for the EMEA and APAC regions, will examine the evolving trend of “premiumisation” in the beer industry.
Before lunch, Heineken’s Marketing Director, Cristina Radu, will present the company’s strategies in the growing no-and-low alcohol segment. The afternoon will split into three thematic streams focusing on no-and-low beverages, innovation, and beer technology. Notable sessions include discussions from Boston Beer Co. on the emerging market of THC-infused drinks and Asahi’s exploration of digitalisation in brewing.
On day two, Beatriz Herrera, Director of Strategic Planning, Reputation, and Sustainability at Mahou San Miguel, will deliver the keynote address, focusing on how brewers integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into their corporate strategies.
The afternoon will see two additional streams: one dedicated to sales channels and the other to sustainable practices. S.A. Damm, another Spanish-based brewery, will wrap up the event with a session on marketing strategies.
