The Norwich Amateur Brewers Festival will make its return to The Mad Cat on West End Street for one day only on June 7. Following the overwhelming success of its inaugural event in 2024, where tickets sold out prior to the festival, this year’s event promises even more excitement.
From 12:00 PM, attendees will have the opportunity to sample over 20 different craft beers. The festival will also include a unique voting system, allowing visitors to cast their ballots for their favorite brews, with an award presentation held at the end of the day.
In addition to the wide variety of homebrewed beers, festival-goers can enjoy beer showcases from well-known commercial breweries such as Adnams and Ampersand Brew Co. There will also be a blind tasting segment, where participants can compare the flavors of beers from professional brewers alongside those made by amateur creators.
The event offers two ticket options: a standard entry ticket for £16.50 or a VIP ticket for £22.
A portion of the funds raised through ticket sales will go towards supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Additionally, ticketholders will have the opportunity to meet the brewers in person and sample a special beer brewed specifically for charity fundraising.
Tickets are available for purchase now, and with last year’s sell-out event in mind, early booking is advised.
