Thomas Bilgram, a Danish co-founder of the brewing company Furbrew, has shown his support for Hanoi Pride by sponsoring beer sales during the event, with all proceeds directed towards LGBTQ+ friendly campaigns.
Bilgram, who serves as both the co-founder and COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Furbrew, collaborated with another brewing company, Overmorrow, to offer their vibrant craft beers at the American Club in Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi, during the Pride event on September 24, 2023.
In a Facebook post directed at the Danish community in Vietnam, Bilgram stated, “For everyone in Hanoi. It’s time for Hanoi Pride again tomorrow. 100% of the sale will be going to the pride.”
This initiative not only supports Hanoi Pride but also demonstrates the role that businesses and individuals can play in promoting LGBTQ+ rights and inclusivity.
