According to a notice from Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), the recall was prompted after chemicals were found on the outer packaging of the beverages, causing an “unpleasant odour.” Authorities warn that food products contaminated with chemicals may pose a risk of illness if consumed.

Consumers who have purchased the affected items are advised not to consume them and to dispose of the products safely. Refunds are being offered at any Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market, or Vintage Cellars store, regardless of whether the purchase was made online or in-store.
