The Beer Junction, a popular beer bar and bottleshop located in The Junction neighborhood of downtown West Seattle, is reviving one of its classic events: Belgian Beer Week. Once a regular fixture on its events calendar, the celebration had been retired for some time—but is now making a timely comeback.
Running from April 23 to May 4, Belgian Beer Week is returning at a moment when concerns over potential tariffs on European imports have created uncertainty about the future availability—and cost—of imported Belgian beer.
“In light of the looming tariffs on European beverages, we decided to throw it back to a classic TBJ event and bring back Belgian Beer Week,” the bar announced. “We figured it was as good a time as any to put together a list of great Belgian and Belgian-inspired beers since we don’t know when we’ll get to do it again.”
The curated lineup includes a mix of iconic Belgian brews and Belgian-style offerings from notable American breweries:
- Brasserie Cantillon – Saint Lamvinus
- 3 Fonteinen – Oude Lambik (served on the beer engine)
- Brouwerij Verhaeghe – Duchesse de Bourgogne
- Saint Bernardus – Abt. 12
- Brasserie Fantôme – Pissenlit
- Brouwerij Van Steenberge – de Garre Tripel
- Bavik – Super Pils
- Jester King – Black Atrial
- Russian River – Robert
- Otherlands – Their Satanic Majesties Third Request
- Holy Mountain – The White Lodge
With this diverse selection, The Beer Junction is inviting beer enthusiasts to enjoy and explore a range of rare and revered Belgian-style brews—before global trade conditions potentially make them harder to come by.
